Astro's Playroom is the best console pack-in game ever made. This little platformer is an absolute delight to play, feeling like a mix of Mario Sunshine and Galaxy with a fun soundtrack, engaging gameplay, and even a decent bit of challenge at times. Astro makes for an adorable mascot and I really hope he becomes the face of PlayStation going forward. As you go through each of the four worlds, the PS5's unique capabilities are shown off one by one and any Sony fan will find tons of little scenes scattered around referencing nearly every Sony franchise from major titles like Uncharted and Metal Gear Solid to indie titles like Flower and Journey. Despite having a bunch of other triple-A games waiting for me, I still went and platinumed the entire game just because it was so much fun. Astro's playroom is a love letter to PlayStation and it's a must-play for anyone with a PS5.
